So where is everyone getting their coax from these days?

so i will soon be in the market for a new 100 foot length of coax.

most likely staying with 1/4" cable, and im definitely looking for something that has both the foil and the braid on it.

I like LMR240 but i think there are a bunch of competitors by now, so im wondering where everyone is finding good deals on the kinds of coax that we use in this hobby.

the coax doesn't have to come with connectors on it, and i might prefer that it didn't.

I have have had good luck with "the wireman" they have a variety of different strokes for different folks. I have 3 runs of the "super eight" it works well, good quality and flexible.

I have also run the jeffa tech lmr 400 for a while with no problems.

These two distributors seem to offer good products at a good price.

LMR-240 is good stuff. I try to buy from ebay. Look for sellers that cater to the networking crowd. They seem cheaper than vendors that sell to the radio crowd.

After buying more expensive brand name cables, I've switched to Jefa Tech over 10 years ago for most applications where non rigid cables can be used. Virtually identical to the OEM cables, at a reasonable price. I forgot the best part. After 10 years, the cable holds up to the weather so well, it still looks and feels like new. Very durable jacket that I've direct buried several times with no issues either. It goes under the lawn easily in a slot cut with a garden edger.

When I finally get a yagi or 2 up for use on 432 my plan is to try out a run of jeffa lmr 600 up the tower to flex 400 for rotor travel and up the mast.. been wanting to check it out for a while.

I've been using the Jefa Tech stuff for several years. I have used their 213, 400 and 600. I had them put the connectors on the 600 because I didn't want to buy a crimper. No complaints.
