Uh-oh. Now you did it. You removed all the plating and now it will rust like a bugger. Better do something with it soon.

Who ever did the plating did a crapola job.
I just did a clear coat on all the pieces I wire brushed until I send the parts out for plating

Not likely or it would have never left the factory. More then likely it was used and abused a lot.

Using a router along the edge this weekend then a coat of stain going to look great !

Sending the base of the key out for gold plate and going to polish the rest to a nice finish and clear coat.
