Ok...thank you, it was worth a try.... DanIf I'm remembering correctly they were around in like the 80's and '90s and now pretty long time out of business. You may not be able to find any parts at all.
Thanks for the info....I would hate to just throw is radio away if someone could do something with it....I think Standard was part of Vertex. They were
part of Yaesu at one time then vertex standard then standard.
Or something like that.

In the age of Bao Feng that's a question worth asking. Handhelds were pricey when that radio was new decades ago. Not so much now.worth selling or not
