A 2.2 trillion dollar stimulus package passes house, and most likely will pass senate!! I have an al1500 that needs repair, and a few other little things in need of tlc. Hopefully this will pass. It will be nice to slam 2500 watts on twenty again!!

OMG! If they was to give me 2.2 trillion, I believe I would junk my al15, and buy a couple new ones. :p But seriously I'm counting unhatched chickens, on what ill do with my $1200.:D The board I need for the 15 is $150 bucks....

No such thing as free $$$ .tax time your returns might get gobbled up to pay the stimulus back

I'd be lucky when I retire - to even get a Quarter...

money is tighter now than under gw but taxes came up later to make up lost time

That is an interesting argument. How tight can money be if we have conjured trillions into existence? Money is debt, and debt is running rampant on both government and private sectors. Seems like money is very loose to me.

That's the same super dollar problem since the great outsourcing and off shoring began. The dollar should be getting weaker, but it's not. China has artificially pegged it's currency against ours so it will always be lower than the dollar. They do this by taking our money out of circulation faster than we can print it. Everything is great until they cash their chips in. Then we will both go pop.

I thought this was going to be a "happily ever after" thought. Everyone seems to get the beginning correct but fail to realize the impending doom.

I disagree that china will "pop" only because they actually have a means of production to create wealth. Heck, they could even sell their goods and (gasp) keep the money rather than loan it back to us. Either way, the dollar is on borrowed time.
