Stryker Sr-955HPC NO MODULATIOM

I have a Stryker 955 that brought off of flea bay, that has very weak modulation. If I hook up to the oscilloscope and the SG you can barely see something through the carrier signal. If I use a stock mic and whistle it starts to show a little wave form, but if I hook up a D104 power mic I have a wave form. I know that this isn’t right. If I key up my average power is the same as the peak power but if I tap on the chassis while keying the peak power jumps up where I believe it should be. I have touched up all of the solder joints of underneath side of the board thinking I had a bad or cold joint but the problem is still there. The radio sounds like $h!t over the air. I’m thinking maybe one of the 13N10’s are bad.

I had a hair line crack across the corner of the board one time, just enough to break a couple of traces. Sometimes. Laying flat, no audio. Stand the radio up on its side, it would work. Drove me nuts until I found the right spot to push on.

I replaced all 4 13N10 transistors with IRF520’s that seems to have took care of that problem. The other problem is there no volume or very low volume in AM,LSB,and USB modes. The volume and squelch is normal in FM. I saw that there an issue with dirty or bad connections on the wiring plugs. I cleaned all the plugs and terminals but it didn’t help. It just seems to be one thing after another with this. I had it in my truck on Monday to test it out and that’s when the volume started acting funky. It was fine for an hour or so then the volume got lower and lower, to where it is now. Any help is appreciated
