Stuffed pepper

Received my Swazi Fire Sauce yesterday! It has a really nice flavor and lit me right up. It's a hot one but I couldn't stop tasting. All systems are normal this morning and while I was out shopping todayI found a couple more habanero based salas to try.

Sorry to hijack the thread. maybe we need salsa section :)

Good stuff isn't it? You don't want to use too much of it at first because the heat seems to really intensify the longer it cooks. I found that out the hard way the first time I used it. I suffered thru supper while the wife and kids just plain gave up.

I like the spaghetti tomato sauce made with a couple of added small minced pepperoncinis; now that's Italian!
Just a little bit of minced bell pepper also makes homemade Texas chile even greater.

I use to be able to get "Wick Fowlers Two Alarm Chili" seasoning packs here in Louisville and that made the best chili. Can't find it any more. Here in Kentucky they serve a ground meat soup with pasta in it. Ugh! I have recipe for a Maranara sauce that was given to me by a real lady from Italy. I can forward it to you or post it on here. Very rich and savory. I won't tell you what I had to do to get it either.

Big fan of Italian food.

We have it here. As a matter of fact I saw it this morning at Meijers store. I'd be glad to pick up some for you. It's $2.19 a box. I was actually looking for chili seasoning when I saw it.

Now isn't that a kick in the pants? I have to get it smuggled in from MI. I might have to work out a deal with you on that.

Try taking bell peppers cut the top off clean it out and fill with a meatloaf like mixture. Put the cap back on and use tooth picks to hold it in place. Bake in the oven a 350 degrees for 45minutes to an hour.
Real tasty and more substantial than an appetizer. Instead of ketchup use Pace Picante sauce for extra bite and flavor.
I love the Pace Picante Sauce commercials! Two "real" cowboys, both dressed looking like - well, COWBOYS - camping with one other guy who's wearing clean, pressed clothes and looking like he just stepped off the cover of the cowboy issue of Esquire. They like this new "Pace Picante Sauce", even though they discover that it's made in "Nooo Yawrk Sitty"!
After dinner, the dude goes to his tent, which is a TWO STORY job with a STAIRCASE!! You see his silhouette climb the stairs, climb into bed - and then you hear two hand claps .... and the lights in the tent go out! Clever commercial, fairly good sauce.
