SWR at SWR meter:
1.6 on CH 1
1.1 on CH 40

SWR at radio:
1.1 on CH 1
1.6 on CH 40

Shouldn’t they be close to the same?

what antenna are you using ?, do you have a dummyload to check both meters ?
if the meters read ok you probably have cmc,

from Walt Maxwells "another look at reflections"

" If SWR readings change significantly when moving the bridge a few feet one way or the other in the line, it probably indicates "antenna"current flowing on the outside of the coax, or else an unreliable instrument, or both, but it is not because the SWR is varying with line length"

These readings are acceptable - but what are you trying to do - what are you up against?

Wilson?
Francis?
NMO versus SO-239 versus Lug to Lug?

1. Do not trust internal SWR meters.
2. Do not trust external SWR meters unless you verified it's readings.
3. Measure SWR close to antenna or with 180° coax.
Or:
Forget all above and use VNA.

Yes. I’m good with the numbers. Not one who goes nits to get a 1:1.

Was just curious of the numbers being reversed at two points 6’ apart. (3’ jumper from radio to amp and another 3’ jumper from the a p to the SWR meter.)
