Swr off the meter. Please help

I don't know how to tune it if I can't read the swr. My needle on the meter goes to the stopping point. Please if there is something I can try please let me know what it is.

Make sure the SWR meter is hooked up correctly. Radio goes to the INPUT and antenna goes to the OUTPUT if it is labeled that way. Hooking it up backwards has happened to more people then they want to admit.

And we wonder why trucker radios only reach 1-3 miles at the most. :laugh:
