I don't watch the Nazi Football League but I live 30 miles West of Jerksonville & I know their so called Team SUCKS badly & the more they LOSE the more I love it.I hate big cities as well.The weather is great most of the time but I wish we would get a few Snow Storms each year since I Love Cold Weather but my wife does not.It stays 69 degrees 24/7 in our home because I hate sweating.I have not played Golf since I retired in 2013 & I actually Sold my clubs just after I retired.I'd much rather Bass Fish given a choice so I have a Bass Boat & lots of tackle.

It wouldn't move at all. I was on my way home from work one Friday afternoon, went to pass a car and broke the center hub out of the Valair single disc clutch. It had it towed back to the shop that night and pulled the transmission to see what that loud bang was. It sat out in the parking lot the rest of the week and was back on the road with a new dual disc Saturday morning. Good times.
Yeah, affected them negatively. If you look at the online sellers, a lot of them are those hometown stores; having adapted as a means of competing with the big guys.
Heck i questioned this deal i wound up in,rented an O2 senser removal kit $29.+ tax,returned it no tax money back. I asked wtf i didnt buy it? Went to another store asked n was told tax was in case i didnt return kit n was to be refunded.back to store 1 n manager gave tax back apollegetic n said new cashier n would be instructed. I was fine with results. But wondered how many that cashier didnt refund to?

I sold a radio, eBay, to a guy in AR I'm in MO. They apparently charged sales tax. This was news to me.
Ebay has been collecting sales taxes for some time now too if it was not mentioned.
It's a drag but we had it pretty good for quite a while. Easy guess that it would only be a matter of time before sales taxes would be collected with online purchases. The government doesn't like losing that revenue and the local stores don't like losing customers to the internet.
Ham radio and CB has lost a LOT of local dealers to mail order and then the internet.
We used to have several ham/CB shops in the Seattle area but they went out of business many years ago.
Many would go look at ham/CB gear at the local shops, quiz the salesman for an hour about the rig and then go home and order one online. Once they get it then they would call or stop by the local shop with all the questions. Hardly fair to the local shop owner.
Less local guitar stores around here now too. The ones that still are here don't carry smaller parts as much as they used to.
One local ham/CB shop used to seal all the ham or CB magazines in plastic so people couldn't just grab one and look up any prices from the mail order shops to try and get a better price from the local shop.

Uh ..... No. Jesus' mission was wholly spiritual and he drove the commerce from the temple on that day because such commerce has no rightful place in the Spiritual House. The reason for his murder was merely related. The Sanhedrin directly benefited from this Temple Commerce so Jesus' actions hit them in the pocketbook. And this is why they finally decided to fatally move against him.
Jesus mission was wholly spiritual. He was not a social, economic or political reformer. Involvement of the church in any of these arenas is a flagrant betrayal of Jesus. The real purpose of any religion worthy of the name is to bring God closer to man and to bring man closer to God.
Yep I read some of this in Matthew yesterday, he wanted the merchants out of the Temple.
I sell stuff on FB all of the time & they send me messages asking me if I sold the item & I always either don't answer or say,NO.They also ask me if I purchased items & I say,NO or just ignore the question.They report sales to the IRS in case you did not know & they keep a record of all sales.BIG Brother really is watching.

Remember, Texas allows other state taxing jurisdictions up to 2%. And the base Texas rate is 6.25%.

From the link above, it looks like Gigaparts is optioning to use the single local use tax rate - 6.25% + 1.75% = 8%.
It seems like Gigaparts is legit - at this point in my research. Also note that Texas charges tax on shipping, too.

Now, I can't speak to why DX Engineering is using 6.5%, but you may want to double check that. I added an amplifier to the cart at a sell price at $3,249.99; with a tax price of $260 - just at 8%.
