I have a Texas Star DX350 with the power wire. I bought it from a buddy of mine a few years back, who used it a time or two then lost his job and needed the money, I was planning on using it but never got around to it so it's been sitting in my closet. I'd like to sell it but I don't know what it's worth now. Can someone tell what it's worth or maybe what I can expect to get out of it?

Thanks Cris

Since it is the push button and not variable I would say 75-100 on the average, 150 would be high retail. With the extra's you have pictured 125 bucks.

Around here that same unit but not nearly as clean sold for $220 and an a much more beat up unit for $175. Dx500 also went for $375 (ancient, rusty cover, bent up sink,no proof working). I do think that is on the high side, but he's a good salesman on ch 19 to locals.

I personally think $150-170 all day, with inside pics and proof of performance at time of sale. Good luck ....it looks clean compared to what I have been seeing.

So I need to open it up and take some pic's of the inside?

Absolutely! And try to show off the numbers on the transistors (pills). Also, if you can market it to sidebanders, do so. Texas Star amps are well known for clean audio on SSB.

I would say CBers in your area are ignorant about the price of CB amps or just plain stupid.
$150 for a clean used TS350 and $250 for a clean, new looking TS500.
