It works for the single-ended driver and final transistor in the radio. Yes, the radios use a diode to stabilize the bias for temperature rise. Yes, TS should but that's the only difference.

TS uses the same transformer circuit for the single transistor as it does for the two transistor setup, does it not?
I'm looking for knowledge here, not questioning you. I'm just going off observation and the fact that TS never put SSB in any of their single transistor amps. Not even the DX111V, and that was in the 250/350 case.
