I ran across this TGM MQ-1-CB 11 Meter Antenna that they call a Hybrid Quad Antenna, and they say Polarization is Horizonal & Vertical without switching due to reflector design. Then it says I need to install a 1:1 Balum on the feed line that becomes part of the antenna and it will be Omni Directional! So..which is it..a Beam or Omni? Is this Idea just a crock of hype for the 11 meter band as far as a antenna...is it worth a flip?
I have no info on this antenna but the design has been used on Ham 6/10/15/20/40 Meter bands with good feedback from users. Does this apply to 11 meter band also? Thank You.

Just a CB version of a hybrid mini quad which has been around for ham radio since forever (Mini Products HQ-1)
Not sure about the "both polarizations" thing but not buying it without some better explanation.
It is a two element beam...And that ain't saying much really. So, not all that directional but it would help some.
If you have room for that antenna, you have room for something better. Mini beam...Mini signal!!

with good feedback from users.
Often they have nothing to compare with. Never used much of anything else or that was better.
Should just say "works well enough for me".
