None of the above...

Although I might consider the S9 if it was given to me, but I wouldn't buy it.

Echo/Talk Back doesn't do a thing for me!

There's my opinion :):)

well i purposely DIDNT put the 2970n2 on there cause thats my #1
choice. what i was looking for was a close 2nd place.i dont care or use
echeo either. they dont make a radio tx or rx less though

RCI 2970N2 is top dog if SSB is ur main thing and it's also can hold it's own on AM with the proper tuning and mic. but i found for screamer that will also get good reports on SSB is a Galaxy 95T i use one and it's stable on SSB once warmed up as the 2970n2 and also i have used it on 10 meters and have gotten nothing but great reports on SSB and on 10 meters the amature purist are shocked when i tell them its a Galaxy radio. and on AM we all know Galaxies reputation for loud audio. really the only reason i enjoy the RCI 2970N2 better is the contiuos tuning via vfo instead of the band switch like the galaxy.

A Magnum S9 in any version of wattage that they offer is probably the best all around performer. They are one small step behind the 2950/70 radio's on SSB and rock on AM. Add to that all the features and they a tough to beat.

You might look at the new version of the Omega Force thats out. Since it's a CPU controlled radio like the 2950/70 radio's it will be just as stable on SSB. I am not a fan of any Export radio that says Galaxy on it unless all you want is a loud AM trucker style radio with echo.
