This is amazing.......

Nah, the DX+ version is indeed a pretty rare bird for a Cobra; not the same radio as the 148GTL/DX. It uses the MC145106 PLL chip; not the MB8719 PLL. Similar to the SS 360FM radio with the exception of the added freq counter. It is worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it. No thanks . . .

Yes a rebranded Radio with the Cobra logo. Radio is worth 199.95 add the Cobra logo new price $600.00 or more. You don't see a lot of those probably a name of the seller rings a bell. Wonder if he uses that name on another radio website

I had one of those about 17 years ago er so. They are a very rare bird, made for less then a year and at one time I heard less then 400 were actually made. Mint in the box it's probably a 300-400 dollar radio today. Wow crazy. They were really cool, 12 bands of channels out of the box, heat sink, dual 1969 finals, freq counter. Great radio.

For the amount of money it's bid to at the moment you could add a little more and get a yaseu FT450D.
Can't see it being a better radio than the Yaseu. But hey I could be wrong. Just don't see $600 worth of radio, sorry. Rare or not. To each his own. I'll hang onto my money for better investments than that!!! JMHO's.
