Thoughts on a HF Contest?

I like this idea. Beats trying to find members on 4 or 5 different bands. Plus I don't want to have to keep re-tuning my amp! lol

Another thought that's probably been brought up many times before - what about a WWDX 20 or 40 meter Net rather than contests? I've participated in every amateur and CB contest so far and haven't made a single contact.
Hmm, I think we have a net controller......

I would like to suggest for 40 meters 7.2375 MHz and for 20 meters 14.2875.
According to the chart I have from the AARL these frequencies are dead center of those bands for phone for technician class operators, although I do not see privileges for the technician class in the 20 meter band.

Tech class licenses have only CW privileges from 7.025 -7.125, no phone on the 40m band. General and up have access to the freq you mentioned. Tech class have hf phone privileges on 10m only.

It must be terrible to be a tech. class operator. I tested straight to General after I Aced the technician. I did not realize that the tech. was so limited.
According to the chart they have 10, 6, 2,1.25 meters along with 70 cm, 33 cm and23 cm.
If my chart is wrong let me know and I'll toss it.
