Took the Tech. test today!

Everyone was very nice and there was only three of us testing. They served coffee and donuts. It was a great experience!

Oh, BTW, I got 34 out of 35 so I passed! (y)
It was not that hard to do. I studied a little then took the practice tests that are on the web over and over. No problem!

I guess I'll do the general test next month.
 

thanks guys. I haven't found a unit I want to buy yet but I did get a couple hams here in the Springs offer a couple units for me to use until I get my own. One mobile and one HT. I'm wanting to go Duel band for sure but I got to come up with some funds first. You know how it is right after Christmas! The guys around here are starting up some 900MHz playing so thats another radios. Damm this is going to get spendy quick!
 
I hear ya . That reminds me when i first past the Tec back in Sept and spent about $370 on my Yeasu VX-8R and it has been real good radio and Yeasterday i went ahead and order from HRO( Ham radio outlet ) a Icom 2820H . Oh get ready for a bunch of antennas on top of the truck or car lol . Welcome to the world of ham .
