Top One Ground Plane (Base Antenna)

my antenna

i couldnt aree with you more high miller far as fiberglass antennas go you cant beat the imax 2000 . As far as beams go i run the maco m-103 it hold up to wind well .herein nj we get bad Ne winds in the winter so a low maitinenc beam is perfect like this

After using my uncles Top One for over a few
days now i'm sort of surprised.
My Imax was 38 ft to feedpoint before i lowered it
and Top One is 31 ft to bottom of ring.
Transmit is the same, but, Top One recieves alittle
better, mostly because its more quiet.

All good Antennas to be sure... The Shooting Star was based on the MoonRaker design... And if anyone knows anything about MoonRakers, this was the design that "Bounced Signals off the Moon"... Hence the Name...

It is one Helluva antenna... If you wanna drive your point home, Put one of these Monsters up!! Linear is optional!
