crystal "a" in one of the banks, its 23.xxx mhz. most SSB is on the upper channels so you wont miss much sacrificing a bank (4 channels each), or two of lowers to get the channels you want. ( i am thinking 37-40?)
A 23.700mhz crystal would give you channels 37-40
you could also add a switch to keep the original bank of channels
you will probably need to find a service manual or have it re-aligned.
another option is to get a VFO if you can find one
oh and unless its been used regularly over the last 30 years, or stored in a cave then I highly doubt the caps are still "wet". I have seen and own exceptions to this rule but usually the caps have dried out and need replaced
