I see hro and dx engineering doesn't have the ts-480 listed anymore. There's nothing on Kenwood's site about it being discontinued. Recon its due to covid?

Dx engineering and hro just recently ran out of stock, because i just looked about a month ago. BTW, what does bj stand for in your username?

I would suggest the TS-480SAT is still in production, because I've just bought a new one with a serial number of C1510032.

This serial number suggests it was made in May 2021.
