I'm kinda in the market for a near mint or mint Plus three mic. I would need it to be perfectly functional with no dead spots or scratchiness in the pot. This is not a priority purchase or anything. I am just tossing around the idea of parting with my Yaesu M-1. If anyone has a sweet Plus 3 that you may want to part with, just let me know and we'll discuss it. Thanx!

I'm pretty sure I have several in the other room, but I'll take a look later. Major question: +3 grey or +3B?

I'm not fussy about color. Only that it's in nice shape and works perfectly. I'm using one now while my M-1 is back at Yaesu being repaired and it's nice, but the pot is a bit funky.

Yes, same innards. It's a little harder than I thought to get to the back of the other room, but I'm still working at in between other stuff.
Don't break your back over it, I am using one at this time. But the pot is a little bit funky. Would like to find a cherry one that still sounds good without needing to be recapped or anything. Just let me know what you have when you get a chance and don't bust your ass over it. Thanks a bunch.

I got it out, and snapped a quick pic. I'll take more later today. It's not mint, but pretty close (IMHO). Also, I want to look at the amp pcb, because this may be one I recapped in 2020 - Woody

Thanks for pulling it out. Let me know the electrical condition and how much you want for it. If I don't have to mortgage my house I'll probably snag it.

Sorry 'bout being slow as molasses. I got some time to snap a few shots and make 'em small enough so they wouldn't choke a server. Tonight or most likely tomorrow I'll dig out my mic tester, 'cause I believe it's wired for a Midland currently and I don't happen to have a 4 pin midland around. I will also open it up to see if this is one of the mics I re-capped. Here are the pix in .PDF

If it's physically pleasing let me know while I'm checking the innards, etc. and I'll PM you with pricing - Thanks

Woody,
Looks very good. I'd be interested in that. My main concern is that it sounds good. My other Turners have bad elements in them and got really bassy and muffled. If it's clean and crisp as the +3 are known for I would be interested in it. I was going to use my SSK until my M-1 returned so capped it, now there is a rushing, roaring noise when I xmit. So, let me know what you need to get and hopefully we'll work something out. Thanx you, sir!
