The cobra 148gtl does 3 watts dk on AM and about 16 to 18 peak.On SSB it does about 18 watts

The SRF-7000 is a MRF455 selected for gain, then marked with the 'house' SRF-number.
These never were terribly efficient amplifiers as I remember them. Good "heaters", definitely.
