Noticed I haven't seen my neighbor around lately. Just came home to a scene of pandemonium.

They just dug him up from under his front porch. Say he's been there for 6 days. The man didn't deserve that. Found his dog starving inside the house.

They have arrested his son and daughter in law. I imagine they killed him for drug money.

Just an awful thing...

The son made a jailhouse confession to the local television reporter. Says he was lone perpetrator. Got in fight with his dad. Claims his dad came at him with a knife. He hit his dad in the head with steel pipe, which was fatal. Then drug his body under the porch and dropped him down in an old cistern.

That's some classic redneck planning right there. They'll never find the body under the front porch in the cistern.. As the Frank Zappa song says "dumb all over".

I am very sorry this sort of thing has happened so close to home for you.

This doesn't surprise me. Half of what is on TV, in music, and youtube contributes to the desensitization of the youth of America. Then you add the news media advertising the behavior to the punch bowl. Just listen to almost any Carrie Underwood song. They are full of dysfunction and rage. People think this type of movies, songs, etc. are cool. If it is brought up that it has a negative impact on a psychological level, people claim "it expresses how I feel." That is just an unintelligent way of saying that it gives legitimacy to the subconscious thoughts that should stay subconscious. Everyone has evil thoughts. What makes an evil person is acting out those thoughts. Being surrounded by negative ideas makes those ideas normal. Negative thoughts and actions shouldn't be normal. Remember these things when parenting.
