Interesting! Comes with a GPS receiver to update scanner frequencies databases to your location and it comes with a window mount scanner antenna. It also still has the WX alert features of it's predecessor.

I might look into one of these.

That's a phone jack so you can plug in your land-line to call Uniden to find out where to send the radio for service, since no one on planet Earth is going to know how to fix the radio when something go's wrong...

I'm wondering if they aren't going to change the laws on this... anyone can use a scanner app on their smart phone and nobody knows you are doing it. Doesn't seem fair to limit folks that want to have a real scanner in their car when scanner apps are freely available these days.

Does look like a cool rig, though!
