I'm not sure if those green parts make the radio get out any better but they make you feel like you are worldwide and if you're in the mud, you won't notice as much.

Good looking setup! I gave my brother a Washington like yours. It covers 100% of the 11m band. Actually it will go into 10m also. The bad part is he isn't using it!!
