use cb to order whopper.

Completely bogus.
Will not work.
It is a hoax.

The transmitt section of a cb will not function at those frequencies without heavy modifications and that would entail a complete redesign and component changes and replacements.

And from another website from the author of the video you watched previously:

http://www.notla.com/archives/2008/03/sacrificial-toasters/

Today I tricked some people into taking their toasters apart.
I never thought I would open up a journal entry with that sentence, but it’s true.
Ever since we made the video in 2003 that showed us hijacking fast food drive-thru frequencies, people have been asking us how we did it.
So after 4 years of being asked, I finally made a video that explains how we did it.
The only thing is, I lied.
The video tells people they need to take apart their toaster and pull out a crystal from the circuit board.
And toasters don’t have crystals in them.

i don't live in the city so i am not able to search for them,

i guess when you are within a short range of each other just about most bands would work for the drive through restaurants.

i thought the video was funny, i would never try and interfere with them though.

That won't ever happen, you'll need to go in and get your lunch.

Actually they used to use 11m FM I think fell under part 15 either on one of the "a" channels reserved for intercom OE something close . I actually saw a headset radio at flea market used 27mhz on FM and had FCC approval on box. Now I bet they use FRS mules or some other low power part15 crap . Target uses FRS and Walmart use Murs BTW

I had an old Midland 23 channel that would "order a whopper." Basically it was my first rig and I had it Super Whack Mega Hyper Tuned. Radio kicked out so many harmonics that it would bleed over the drive through comm set. It was understandable enough to order food, barely. But there was no receiving the drive through on the CB.

I thought it was a pretty cool trick when I was a 16 year old punk.

When I was younger and playing with high power in the mobile I had been asked a few times to stop keying up at fastfood drive throughs because of creating Havoc and blasting through headsets and or PA systems. My wife would be embarrassed and I would just laugh

It wasnt hard to figure out who the culprit was when I had the big antenna on the roof I guess. I had heard where kids would setup HT radios and sit in a parking lot and mess with workers and managers at drivethroughs to thepoit where managers would come out and look around patrolling the parking lot for what or who was causing the problem. Meanwhile the kids sat accross the street in another parking lot watching the whole thing laughing their @$$es :LOL:ff........
