Using 102" WHIP for SWL?

I used a base loaded 1/4 whip for SWL, cause it was all I had. Backed the car up to the window and ran the coax from the car to the house. It worked alright for picking up commercial broadcasters, and worked really well on 11meters, I could pick up amature voice on 10m SSB too, but that was the only ham band I could pick up other than some CW.
