When skip was good about two years ago I would hear maybe three or four operators on sideband that would use the American Kangaroo prefix. But I have not heard them in quite a while.

The American Kangaroo Club was started by a man named Danny and his dad in Indianapolis, IN around 1992. I'm sure he's long since passed on by now. I was originally designated as AK #6 but changed it to 321. I lived in the same neighborhood, and Danny and his dad were good friends. You could always catch them on 27.385 LSB just about every day back then.

I have spoken with AK 2525 Bill several times over the last week or so. I thought he got out of radio since I didnt hear him for a long time.
