vp2e antenna, drawn for 11m

Yeah, I was wondering why the schematic specified 50 Ohms at the feedpoint ... and never mentioned coax, LL, ect.

Antenna is pretty simple to build. (and once it gets a little warmer outside

Here is an interesting antenna, I drew it up with measurements for 11m. Hope to get one in the air soon as I can. it emits at a low angle towards the horizon, about 26 ° (effectively 20 – 40 °),

That's not low angle. That's only really good for short skip of a few hundred miles. For DX you need to be looking at what it is putting out at 8 degrees or less. Looking at the 3D model shown I'm expecting it'll be negative gain making it worse than a 1/4 wave groundplane for DX.
