Not much available here in the stores regarding ammo, powder, primers. I stay fairly well stocked but will buy some primers if/when I see some.

I'm not a hoarder by my definition. I've been reloading and also buying some ammo occasionally for decades. My radio hobby and reloading sometimes get in the way of each other.

Or maybe I am a hoarder. I do have a few cases of factory ammo in 9mm, 40 S&W, 5.56...plus a few "extras" of various calibers and gauges.

I dont call it hoarding if you build up MOERATLY,if you shoot say 100 rounds a month n buy 125 rounds a month thats moderate.
I m well stocked but hate not being able to keep current stock up.

Thankfully I had Ralph ( S&W357 ) when I started my Reloading venture a few years back ! Quite a few Pm's & phone calls but he got me thru it ! Maybe it's because I had just started or intuition but I'm well stocked on Powder , Primers & Lead . I inherited all needed to make my own Projectiles but I haven't tried yet . When I do Ralph's in for a treat again ! I also have plenty of Bars of lead . Plenty of rounds in my Ammo Locker because when I started reloading I went a " Tad " over board . My worse problem was getting the 380acp right , what a PIA w/ those small cases ! But ammo $ & getting it is not good here either . I got a PM the other day my nephew wanted to sell me some 45acp ( I have plenty ) , he gave me a price & I thought " He's Nut's " ! Well , Leo was wrong again ! I looked up the $ and almost crapped my pants ! His $ was cheap ! Now he's got me thinking ? The world has gone Nut's ! Stay Healthy & Safe ! 73 & God Bless ! Leo

i got many MANY ziplock bags full of home rolled out ammo with black sharpie writing stating grains n brand of power,grain n type of bullet, date also n what firearm it was shot from, i got 2 -.22 hornets, 2-.204 rugers and 2- 22-250 rifles.i neck size cases about 4 loadings then inspect cleaned cases n full lenght size on 5th loading,cases last lots longer

I just got kicked out of the sporting goods store. Apparently north Dakota enacted a mask requirement this week. How did I see the Danish study that was released this week debunking the effectiveness of surgical masks, but missed the new requirement? Boy was I surprised to see only 13 states with no mask required. Can't fix stupid I guess.

I have no idea what is available here, but I will find out what south Dakota has next week. Hopefully a pound of longshot, because I'm craving some 10mm speed.

If you question this, you are not a good Democrat and will not be part of our club anymore". You may not read these words, but that is how your brain interprets them.

Hmm, I wonder why this Obama appointee is a former CDC director? Did he become "former" when he was arrested?

My point was that a virus is not political, but somehow it gets forced into a left vs right battle. They purposely feed each side with different data and ideas to fuel the fight. Divide and conquer is not a new tactic, but boy does it still work.

I'm growing very tired of people thinking with emotion while throwing logic and reason out the window. Sometimes the right thing to do is not fun, pleasant, or make you feel good. We are not special, and our feelings do not change wrong to right.

Is it really any surprise that we can't find ammo with people acting this crazy?

Rwb , Thanks for the thread . I only reload in the Winter ( unless needed ) It made me remember , I Grenaded my Old Tumbler last year & still haven't replaced it yet . And I have a lot Brass to do ! Back in the mid 90's when I had my FFL, I bought 5000 L.R. Mag primers and some 12,000 bullets of various calibers, I was able to get them all at the wholesale price cuz of my license. But, I just gave it all away to our son this last summer, so he is pretty well set for all his pistol's and rifle's now.

Also gave him boxes and boxes of 12/20ga slugs and buckshot shells to go along with his two Rem. 870 pump's, Ithaca M37 - 12ga and 16ga German Drilling that I gave him.

Here is a picture of what my Drilling look like, the picture here is of a gun taken off the web, but it's almost identical to what mine is. Mine was made between 1925-1928.

My custom made knife also went to him.........
