Watts÷volts=amps

My 2 megawatts in parallel work as they should. That said its not going to be enough amps. So im going to try a bank of hp server supplys. Much cleaner units than a computer supply and can run at 90% 24/7 for years.
I was looking at the 2400 watt Deltas but with that unit its basically a 2 in 1 unit. Its one case but its split and takes 2 breakout boards. If blow one its like losing 2. Im also looking for redundancy in case one suplly takes a dump, so im back to looking at the 1200 watt hp units. I can have a continuous 320 amps for $216 and a couple modifications.
Remember, server supplys like computer supplys typically run at a flat 12 volts. You can turn the server supply up internally but you also need to raise the over voltage limit by changing a resistor. Those mods are pretty well documented for the more popular server supplys on rc forums and other forums. The pin outs for the hp's are well documented too. Parallel Miner sells breakout boards that attach right to the server's outputs and makes it easier to use server supplys.
Im not paying $1500 for a 450 amp supply that will be the same as what im putting together for a fraction of the price.
