The finals were replaced brand new..now I have a weird problem..when I hook the n2 to my attenae it registers a hi SWR READING.....WHEN I USE OTHER RADIOS THE SWR'S ARE FLAT...NO REFLECTED POWER WHATSOEVER...IM TOTALLY BAFFLED BY THIS..I USE THE I- MAX2000 ATTENAE AND IT HAS BEEN TUNED PROPERLY FROM THE 26 MHTZ TO THE 28000 MEGS...WITH A 1.1 SWR THROUGH OUT THOSE BANDS...CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP!!DONT KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEMS IS...BUTS ITS NOT MY CONNECTORS OR THE ATTENAE....

test the radio with a dummy load and see what the SWR it is reading. Sounds like the radio's meter pot might need adjusting.
Come to think of it your antenna seems to work like a dummy load if it has 1:1 SWR over 2mhz. Antennas seem to work better when tuned for a specific frequency with a 'normal' SWR curve.
Sometimes bad coax or bad connections can eat up the return SWR and make an antenna swr look lower at the radio than it would be if checked at the antenna.
And sometimes harmonics can raise the SWR and make the antenna look worse than it is...so try putting a low pass filter right after the radio and see if anything changes..

That's exactly what I was going to suggest!
I know....I have a couple here that do that same thing.
