Anyone know what "dit-dit-dah" is, in Morse Code?
A letter is being repeated over and over. Is it a bouy or navagation number for a guide beacon?



Edit: I just looked up Morse code on Wiki, abd it appears to be the letter "U."

I'm assuming it's not Morse because the first time I heard it, it was nine dits and one dah. The second time, seven dits, one dah.

It's not Morse. It sounds more like RFI from a CPU that is cycling. Got a scanner in the shack? If so turn it off and check again.

Yep, sounds like some locally generated noise. The source may be in your house or surrounding area.
