An inverted L is OK but it is basically an end loaded vertical and will still benefit from radials. An inverted VEE would be my choice for a multiband antenna. Feed it with 450 ohm ladderline and a tuner and be done with it. If there is not enough room to spread out an inverted VEE then an inverted L may be the way to go however the vertical radiation pattern will be all over the place depending on the band of operation at the time. In this case it may be wise to try and choose a length that is not resonant on any band to avoid some REALLY high impedances when the length approaches an even multiple of 1/2 wave.
Looks like 66 33 on 80m 40m 17m 6" deviation could almost clip all but 160m but that aside a 6" deviation is not too bad. Horizontal 160 shortened or wrapped in a shape or whatever way to fit but dunno if would still retain omni directional ability?
Those lengths are approximate like I said. One you start operating a single length on multiple bands thins change somewhat. The reason is that the desired parts of the various bands my not be a perfect harmonic multiple of the other. Example: cut an antenna for 3800 and it will be resonant at 7600 which is outside the 40m band and at 15200 which is nowhere near the 20m band. Also the end effect of an antenna is taken into account only once even if the antenna is 3 or 4 1/4 wavelengths long. The longer the antenna is in terms of wavelengths the greater this error in overall length becomes.
I prefer the fan dipole. No tuner required but the all band doublet works just as well if not better on the higher frequencies. Ladder line feed of course.
Basically what it comes down to is your preference in antennas. Going out to the back yard and building them, Trying them on the air and seeing which one YOU like the best.
So many to choose from I did see a hex bean but also what seems to be a HEX but could not tell it is a beam but was under omni directionals hmmm and was a 6m 10m 12m 15m 17m 20m and 40m hmm
