What do I need?

Mista Fatty:

Off topic-it was old the first time you did this.
It's my opinion - and I'm stickin to it.
You may well be right about the RS mics; my experience was different than yours.
This is a forum - get used to it.
Thanks...

Don't like reading my responses, don't I certainly won't miss you...

Ebay is probably a good place to go to find a mic for that radio, if there isn't a local CB shop in his area. I had one laying around but I can't find it now. I probably tossed it. Another good place to find them is flea-markets attached to other radio shack CBs. I don't think I would invest in an expensive mic, if I was the OP. He may hook up the CB, use it for a while and then find out he's not that interested in radio, in which case the investment is lost. Or, he may get it working, like it a lot and decide he wants to purchase a shiny new radio - at which point it will make more sense to consider investing in a mic.

Just my 2 cents.

Aren't you making a mountain out of mole hill; maybe just a little bit?
I don't hate you - or anything like it.
Life is too short; as the planet becomes too small...

You are entitiled to your opinion, as I am mine.
Just let it go at that.
I can - if you can.
May God Bless you...
