You don't have to be a plus. Get your Technician Class and that's it. Digital is 28.100 usb-.300 usb, voice 28.300 usb-.500 usb

And CW is 28.000 to 29.700, although it's usually found between 28.000 and 28.100. Just because it's not required for getting a license any longer doesn't mean it isn't used.

You don't have to be a Tech either, but that is the current entry level class.

Radioreddz ALL YOU NEED IS A FCC AMATEUR RADIO LICENSE ENTRY LEVEL (TECHNICIAN LICENSE) WHICH WILL GIVE YOU 10 METERS 28.300 THRU 28.500 VOICE ONLY. ALONG WITH ALL VHF/UHF PRIVILEGES. Good Luck &73

as asw said a tech can only operate 28.000 -28.300 rtty and data.28.300-28.500,ssb phone(200 watts max) as per the arrl band plan. www.arrl.org on 10 meters. but vhf/uhf and 6 meters you get all modes.hope this helps good luck.

I like PSK31...not RTTY

28.120 to 28.150 -- PSK31

go all data under 28.3 on 10m
