I spent a lot of time at the Roller Rinks. Jake's Skate Land, P.V.M Skate Center. When I was in 3rd grade I used to work behind the Skate counter at P.V.M every Saturday afternoon from 12:00 pm to 3:00pm for a dollar an hour. P.V.M had the tan rental skates too, I remember one particular Saturday afternoon it was 1976 so a lot of the guys still wore long hair and I gave a guy a set of girls skates. He came back about 5 minutes later and hatefully said I need a size 9 and this time give me boys skates! I exchanged the skates and when I handed them to him I said, GET A HAIRCUT! I thought I was such a big shotDon't forget Roller Rinks...
