That was the biggest bowling alley around back then, too bad, had a lot of fun there.

Yeah go out the back door of the arink and would skate around the parking lot in the rented tan colored roller skates... good times!
I spent a lot of time at the Roller Rinks. Jake's Skate Land, P.V.M Skate Center. When I was in 3rd grade I used to work behind the Skate counter at P.V.M every Saturday afternoon from 12:00 pm to 3:00pm for a dollar an hour. P.V.M had the tan rental skates too, I remember one particular Saturday afternoon it was 1976 so a lot of the guys still wore long hair and I gave a guy a set of girls skates. He came back about 5 minutes later and hatefully said I need a size 9 and this time give me boys skates! I exchanged the skates and when I handed them to him I said, GET A HAIRCUT! I thought I was such a big shot

I'm still kicking, lol.
I was working in the field and a big pipe hit me in the head. It was touch 'n go for a few weeks. My wife was standing beside me when it happened. I wouldn't have made it if she hadn't been there. My speech, strength and dexterity are coming along.
I recently sold our house and moved. Still in Ohio, though. Been gathering up stuff to get my station back on the air.
I appreciate the thoughts. Hope everyone is doing well.

@ W4KVW:I will not be there but hopefully by the end of this month I will have my New tower and antennas back in the air including my M2 6M5X. The old tower and all of my antennas came down in October 2023 during a Hurricane.+1
