Do you have to limit it to just this week? I fried a 2950 by hooking up the power leads backwards. It was a garage sale find that I paid $35.00 for.

Here's one my wife just adopted a retired Race Horse from NJ , he arrives 6/11 I retired from the hay business last year now .... $$$ .I should have stuck with my gut and said no more horses .

I had a new car that I had invested way too much into to make it faster and upgrade the suspension...after paying for a cpu tune I decided to “see what it would do” ...I got clocked at 143 in a 75 by a not so friendly Indiana state trooper at 3am on my way home from work...I hadn’t had a ticket in 14 years. He literally was ready to cuff me when he seen my military ID and FOID card when I took my license out of my wallet. He wrote the ticket for 99mph and gave me a 30 minute butt chewing. It cost me $240 in court and another butt chewing by the judge. My wife made me trade the car for my 2017 Ram 1500.

You are lucky he did not shoot you. I got pulled over on a motorcycle for doing 15 MPH over 55 in an area that is lightly traveled and in good condition. He approached with gun drawn! Wife flashed her badge and he calmed down. When you are old and the urge to pee hits you gotta get relief. I explained to the trooper and he said there's the bushes. When I got back up he was still pissed but had put his gun away. I got a ticket that cost me over $275.00. The most expensive leak I ever had.

Well I did think of something that I did a week or so ago. Not really dumb but may qualify as such. I made a bracket for my mobile antenna to mount on my truck. I was trimming the stainless steel with a grinder with a super thin cut-off disc. The piece I was trimming off was only about an eighth of an inch so it was REALLY hot. You know like when it starts to turn that bluish-purple colour? It fell off onto the floor and bounced onto the top of my right foot. No problem so far except that I was wearing sandals at the time. OK that's stupid mistake number one. Stupid mistake number two followed a split second later when I kicked my foot out to get rid of the hot metal and stop the burning. Anybody remember where I said I just recently had knee surgery? Yup it was on my right knee. The hot metal was painful but no where near as painful as what I felt in my knee after that. I just gave up and hobbled back into the house for the rest of the day after doing that stunt.

One week ago today, I was on top of a piece of heavy equipment in South Georgia (very, very HOT down there!) checking an air conditioner condenser fan for not working. Bypassing the relay with a jumper wire plugged into the relay socket made the fan work. Held a jumper from the relay coil ground terminal to chassis ground while the operator hit the switch and took the sheet metal fan blade to the back of the right hand on the knuckle of the middle finger. Problem with that was I had that middle finger partially amputated 6 weeks ago and was just now getting movement in what is left of it. A sudden stoppage to my physical therapy!

Dumbest part was, right before I told the operator to hit the switch, I thought" I should remove that blade. It's just one bolt. Naaa, I get plenty of room for a quick test."

Major Senior moment!! Still pissed at myself!
