I found a bunch of old Copper catalogs from the 1980s where they actually had tech tips.
$148 for a new Cobra 148 GTL and $138 for a New Grant.......the times where minimum wage was $2.65 an hour!
Copper has always shipped me exactly what I wanted and on time. H&Y charged my CC for a Wilson 5000 they didn't have in stock and after 2 weeks, I asked them what was going on......well it was cancelled on the spot.
You get what you pay for....cheap prices and less than ideal service.
is funny back in the early 80's i used to use copper..
Well until it too me 3 months (or more) to get my AR-3500.
I had so many issues/problems with copper..
Never used H & Y but they look to be no better then copper.
These days though i do not get CB's much though..
So i Deal with Far more customer service oriented stores and companies....who also have Techs who actually know what they are doing... LOL
I think they have Mr. Magoo pull their orders. I always seem to get a mis-pull every other order. Last time I ordered 10 wheat lamps and got 10 Galaxy S meters instead.
Usually when their site goes weirdo, they are updating it.

Not a bad deal if all you got charged for was 'wheat lamps'
RadiooMan
And even worse when you figure out that they are the other half of C****r electronics.
