What's Wrong With This Picture and Description?

I'd just like to say that I apologize for replying to this thread. The swapshop section has replies disabled to discourage these types of comments.

AROUND 20 is typical. Usually see 17 watts. That's around 20. Big difference between 17 and more than twice that of over 35.

Offer the guarantee or crawl away. Ha !

What is it you'd like guaranteed? That the radio will do 35 watts on someone else's meter? because my Bird that was calibrated 3 months ago is not accurate to Weasel standards?

You want me to guarantee the radio works properly? because someone can't open the radio and chop a bunch of wires then claim the radio was not working?

If I sold a piece of junk it would be splattered all over the forum and I would not have a chance to sell again. Sorry but I don;t operate that way. I have always sold good stuff and would never cheat anyone. Not my style, sorry

Sorry my friend. Nice try but you Fail

If you've never seen radios do 30-40 pep with a stock final after being worked on then you really need to take a break from the Net and expand your horizons, because it is very common. You might not see it on your Nets or Sky Warn, but they are out there and they are not the anomaly.

First you start this thread to imply I am trying to cheat people by falsifying that the radio operated correctly. When you were clearly proven wrong you're trying to change the direction of the discussion.

Anyway that said, im done with the thread. If someone wants the radio they can buy it. If they don't then they won't.

I dont sell bad stuff. You can cheat someone one time then your reputation is marred. Having a viable outlet to sell and trade items and have good quality discussions is worth more to me than making a fast hundred then getting labeled as a scumbag.

Making a thread about the capabilities and limitations of the 2078 transistor would be a good avenue to discuss the matter more in depth. But absent of that, well...there's nothing more to discuss about the radio.

Ps, that is you David isnt it :)

Ice dude, We have no idea if you sell crap or not. You have apparently sold nothing here on this forum and that is all that we have to go on.

Your story does not add up and electrical hooey is debated here all the time. We do not have to believe stuff every time some goober flaps his gums. I suggested a very reasonable way for you to back up a silly claim and you have declined.

Hey! Does that other 29 in the original pic also do over 35 Super Bird watts? If so you could put them together as a matching pair and get $500 bucks on ebay for them. Just tryin' to help ya out good buddy.
