I'm looking to make some custom-length microphone extension cables - specifically for my 5-pin Silver Eagle desk mic.
The stock cable is 6 conductor but I only need 4 + shield (standard issue Astatic). Ideally I'd like to have a coiled-type that would comfortably stretch to 15-20 foot; however a straight cable would suffice. I've been searching for a while without luck. Most I find are too large or don't have enough conductors.
So... do I need to have a secret hand-shake, or belong to a secret society of cable guru's to know where to buy bulk micrphone cable? Someone makes the damned stuff?!
