I'm glad you fellas like your Signal Engineering antennas. I've built several quads over the years and they've always done well.

Signal Engineering does have some flat-out wrong info about the way antennas work in general though (such as no f/b on a directional antenna with no reflector!), so take their "theory" with a grain of salt.

Forget the theory. I am going off Real World experience. My Signal Engineering 6 element quads WORKS...
 
Well, that's good, and it should. It's hard to make a quad or delta loop not work, honestly. They're great antennas, and if you don't mind dealing with a skyhook that has 3 dimensions, they're hard to beat.

I did email them (politely) about the misinformation on their website a couple of years ago. Never heard back from them and they haven't changed it.
