Which cars are the worst of the last 10 years that have major electrical probelms when running a 2 or 3 pill amp or bigger.

Ford trucks have a hell of a problem with fuel pump noise unless they have changed something in the last few years. And I'm sure that would affect the way the radio worked with some power behind it also.

I know we have had 3 different ford rangers 2-99 1-2000 and the fuel pump noise in the radios was terrible until we put the ferrite beads on the fuel pump lines.
The reason I said ford trucks was that I ran onto a trucking forum where a lot of the guys had the same problems an thats how they fixed'em. Ford was suppose to do it on a service bulletin type deal an they just quit doing it for people

I don`t have any problems with my full size Bronco, or my '01 Ranger with noise.
I did have a 85 thunderbird that was fuel injected, but 2 snap on chokes, and a .01 cap at the pump power wires solved that problem.
Any car/truck can have noise, it is just a matter of tracking it down and killing it.

I found the link I was talking about here

It may help somebody that doesn't know about this problem

That's a lot of garbage to have hanging from the fuel pump wires. I tried that exact same thing a few years ago after seeing that article and it did nothing. I had a noise level around S-9 or more all the time.I put a 0.01 uF capacitor across the fuel pump wires and the noise completely went away. I always suggest someone try the capacitor before trying the chokes. It is a lot easier and cheaper and will work as good or better in about 99% of the cases.

I was looking at this guys site and wondered where to get a miracle antenna?
