Which CB Shops are still accepting mail-in repairs?

I will be setting up my shop again here in Indiana we just got here tonight and will be excepting some repairs but it will be about 6 weeks out before I'm up and running again I was not going to but If I meter the inflow of radios and don't take more than I know I can get done in a reasonable time span it should work out fine I know that isn't much help if you are looking to have them done sooner but it's the best I can do as we won't be able to move in till the house is finished in about 2 weeks and it will take me at least another 3 to 4 weeks to get set up. I do plan on doing some repair videos but that is just a plan right now. When the bench is all set up again I will post some images and let you know when I'm ready to go. Hope this doesn't come across wrong I'm not trying to plug myself I'm just letting you know what my intentions are.

Well, that sounds like good news!
I'm needing a radio worked on. Not looking for anything special, primarily a tuning & alignment as far as I know.
 
Very familiar with area!...since I worked for almost 25 years right up the road on I65/I70...at Lucas Oil Stadium and was IBEW Journeyman Electrician for 38+ years.
I worked all over Indy and state area.
I am straight East on I70 about 35 miles from downtown.
Welcome to INDY… need help getting around Holler...I may be able to help.

I will be excepting mail-in repairs in the not too distant future I'm in the process of getting it all set up. This what it looks like again but just like my repairs it has to be right and that takes a little more time for a bench like this but I will get there.. Below is what it should look like except there will be more equipment I'm adding I was able to pick up my older equipment along with a ton of parts cabinets.

Here's the way Mike works. Send him your equipment. He recivers it fixes it and sends it back.
4 to six days from your qth to his and back to yours.
Another thing Mike does that others can't or won't is work on tube equipment.
When I say tube I'm not just talking amplifiers.
He has an incredible collection of ef Johnson equipment that would be the envy of any boat anchor enthusiast and he restored every piece.
He's got an incredible collection of AM radio's. You know the type. Zenith RCA ect ect.
If you need work on anything tube to transistor send it to him and don't worry about getting a second rate job or worse ripped

I sometimes post about Mike because it wasn't that long ago I was myself trying to find a Tec to refurbish my equipment with little luck.
Even on this forum I was told finding someone to work on tube stuff was not likely.
Mike was and is not only an excellent Tec but will walk one through a repair over the phone.
He really enjoys what he does and never minds helping. Good luck.

Unfortunately, Mike is no longer working on amplifiers. He can’t keep up with all the request for radio repairs and had to limit the kind of things he works on.
