I would not send a damn thing to DTB radio after what he was arrested for!!! I'll let someone else tell you why unit 194, but F DTB Radio, don't care how good he is with a radio. JMO.
Dougs Custom CB shop, Key CB shop, Mikes radio repair. There are others as well, but nope. Not DTB. And I used to send people his way or at least mentioned him a lot as being a good tech. Not anymore!! Like I said, look around the forums and search about what I speak of. Then maybe your thoughts will change as well. Again, JMO's.

That's weird if he was busted you would think he would have been convicted right?
he is out on bail. he is charged with 46 counts of having child porn on his computer. look it up its public record.

I'm not condoning his legal problems but IMO Dave is a damn good radio tech.

Anyone ever hear the term "innocent until proven guilty"? the whole reason we have a court system in the first place is because sometimes people get accused of things they didn't do. Now it probably wouldn't be a good idea to let him babysit your kids but maybe we should wait for a verdict before we start running around cutting peoples penis's off.
As far as sending him a radio is concerned I would avoid it just because the possibility exists that he could lose his freedom at any time, if they take him away while your radio is in his shop it's unlikely you'll ever get it back.

They found child porn on his computer. And I promise you this. When the FEDS come to your door they know more than you think and already have a solid case. They just don't come with a doubt. Beleive me when I say this. Read the article that jon666 posted and you'll see what I mean. If they found child porn on his computer and also know he was also distributing it as well. He is screwed!! He even admitted it himself on his Facebook page. Like I said, unless you have kids maybe it's hard for you to understand. I would most likely be in prison myself if I found out one of my kids was a victim. I could care less if he is the best damn tech in the world!! What he has done is beyond what any normal person would do and he deserves whatever he gets!!! JMO.
There was a case locally semi recently where everyone was talking the same as here, feds came and took him away and all. In the end they found the guy didn't do it, sometimes even the feds get it wrong. I'm not defending him, just saying we should give the courts time to do their thing.
He admitted himself that he indeed had done it!! How much more evidence do you need?? On his Facebook page he admitted to the charges and said he had problems. He also admitted this to his church that he indeed did do this.
