Id have no radios if I send this back to Stryker for "repair". The 2970N4 is out for repair currently. Funnily enough, I received an automated email from Shawn at Stryker asking me how Im getting on with the new radio. Albeit I ignored it.
I would pursue warranty service. If you spent money for it you deserve a new unblemished radio. Would you accept a new car with a stone chipped or cracked windshield? I know I would not. I would raise so much hell they give me what ever I wanted just to get rid of me.
I was just hoping he'd send me a front unit and I'd send him back this front unit, probably was asking for too much or probably as with anything else in the CB business the user damaged it attitude.
Well like I mentioned earlier, my attempt to spray compressed air per advise given by him ( not blaming him ) caused a slight crack now in the top right corner of the display glass. So now, the dust looks worse and ive a slight crack in LCD.
If the new crack is in the LCD it might fail in the future. I would still try for the replacement. I would now bypass the shop where it was purchased and go straight to the manufacturer. They don't want unhappy customers blasting their backside on public forums.

All this talk about black list and white listing firms . If anything Stryker radios should be on the blacklist. Any organizations value are guaged by their after sales service. If after sales service does not exist then the firm should not exist in the long run. Failing that, sell me a product with an option of "sold as seen" with it being reflected in the price. Else, dont give me false hopes of a warranty when none exists.

Indeed, Stryker did write me an email informing me of posting me the part in question, however this was not until after I wrote on your blacklist facebook page. Not after , like what you and David are saying, or in his own words, "busting their chops " for no reason since he sent me the part already.
Oh, and just out of interest, any reason why you were so interested in my issue with Stryker ? Perhaps I should have asked that question to myself before engaging in communication with you and your first message in Messenger to my was a screen shot of message Shawn sent you, I guess Im too stupid to see the warning sign.

21 hrs ago i posted that screen shot i showed you to a group in relation to the matter in the first part of it ..over 2000 people have seen that post and its old news ...that was 2 hours before you even posted on BL ...so draw you own conclusion

Im not sure what you are refering to . I am merely saying I find it pretty coincidental that you initiated a FB message chat with me, which I accepted, I notice a screen shot of what appears to be a conversation between you and Stryker as the first message sent to me by you. That in itself from a moral stand point is a no no. You basically copied a chat you had with Stryker and showed it to me, why would you do that? I dont understand.
Then this fella called David Roehn closes my post, stating that Stryker has already sent me a part and he cannot understand why I would be busting Strykers chops when the matter has been resolved. Well of course, it was not resolved. Since I received the email from Shawn only after I posted about black listing his firm on that FB page.
I will say this again. I am just a consumer with no vested interest in any firm.

I thought Stryker had mailed out the parts at the time of your post, if not then I apologize. Thank you Sir, I apoligize for calling you a name, its not what I stand for. If Yetti communicated on my behalf to Stryker which assisted in me receiving the email from Shawn after I posted on FB blacklist page then so be it. I also thank him in that case and apoligise unreseverdly.
Thank you, yes, YetiCom and I have been friends for years and we talk often, he is also a friend to the blacklist page. Mistakes were made on both sides an I could have spoke a bit nicer on my group page. I believed you were stirring up stuff after the business settled up with you. I apologize for that.
