Who is building 5 pill 2879's?

I gotta keep asking what I wanna do. What is it I wanna do? Once I figure that out, I'll know what I wanna do. Now, what is it I wanna do?

I think there might have been some drinking of alcoholic beverages during before the making of this video.

Now I gotta go figure out what I wanna do.

This is an old box its already been blown and repaired with new 2879s
probably even blew the driver final as well and didnt have a 2290 to go back and stuck the 2879 instead.
sad attempt

So does this look familiar to any one?

A guy from W VA who used to hang out over at CBRT made 1x4 amps with a 2879 as a driver under the name Mountain Made. FWIW.

I know this isn't a Fatboy amp, but Fatboy makes a 1x4 amp with a 2290 driver and a 1x4 with a2879 driver.

I'm sure there are basement amp builders out there just copying designs and selling them as their own.
That is definately too sloppy to be a fatboy.
Could be the "Mountain Bubba BM-400" for all we know.

some people are building em like that cause they dont no how to tune the new 2290's in the driver circuit. when using a 2879 as a driver, the input transformer gets wrapped 5 to 6 times to lower the watts down to around 50 watt dead key. this way is not for everyone.
