Run the KL203 in truck, though it sitting idel till I fix the C29 limiter that was cut by prior owner and get down to 1.5w dk.. got the TS350 at home, waiting on my C148 to come back from an overhaul..

I have no problem with either but on a base setup preference would definitely be
tubes, 3-500Z or large pls. Generally cleaner output, higher tolerance for unintended abuse, etc.
For mobile use I would consider selling a kidney to have a dual BLF188XR LDMOS amp though, problem is all the BS you need to get to 48-50VDC...

Thinking about the GS35B for 6m build...since I have a couple here with custom made sockets.
Just need to look at Xenia/Hamvention for the right "IRON" to make her "sing"

I'd feel better of those meters had diodes across the terminals for added safety and if that chimney fit a little tighter.
The gs35b is a good bang for the buck but I switched over to 8877s. I have a half dozen gs35b toobs that I need to do something with....good plate iron is expensive.
Easier said than done, I typically drive sedans that don't have much space in the engine compartment for that sort of thing....
