A 1-2 watt dead max and a max swing of 15-20 watts pep is all that is needed to make that TS Modulator work great for a long time. Or put it this way a 20-30 watt carrier when the amp is keyed, will most likely sound better and will definitely prolong the life of the transistor. God bless.
