Thanks, I have 2 of these EFHW-8010hp model wire antennas have both up as of today, the 2nd one is on the other side of the house hung horizontal between 2 trees about 30ft off the ground just testing it over there for now, but yeah have a friend he told me to try the samething u did HomerBB, and may try that after the weather warms up a little....
I'd like to try a full size loop, but don't no if I can or not, have power lines coming cross the creek to a pole in the yard, which the service line comes off the pole to the house maybe 50ft from the shack window, only way probably get a loop to fit here have to go up on the mountain side a ways and back around.....have heard alot of good things about the loop...
Only reason I'm running these EFHW antennas is because there easy to put up without any help, getting some one help u here hard to get...no complaints with this EF seems to do well the one is ..
