Maybe Superhawk will buy it, say it arrived damaged, demand and receive a refund and then return a box of junk to the original seller.
Then he will clean it up, create some BS story about how he used to be a Robyn dealer, jack up the price to an even more insane level and try to sell it alongside his $1100 Trams and Brownings.

cool radio..i have two here ..however unless you sit on one channel its a dog to flick around the channels causally on ...un-like similar radios that use a similar keypad (arf2001 or sbe console vi that have up/dwn buttons you needed to punch in the channel you wanted to go to or press scan otherwise..well its a radio but keypads dont make radios sound great do they lol

I'd rather have the robyn. especially a robyn 510D. never liked the 148s, love the 858 boards.
JJD, if that is the highest bidder, then yeah I suppose he does want it bad!! Not me for sure!! I have 4 kids to shop for this time of year and ain't shizz cheap for teenagers these days!! My money is just about gone before I even see it LOL!
Buyer Beware: That looks like the same non-working 148GTL- DX radio that he had listed for $299. about a month ago.
Looking at the 148 gtl the mic conector looks older than the rest of the radio.old turd with new cover and knobs etc.another possible scam but at that price you deserve what you get.
Nice try, Hawk. But I've spent enough time in retail and shipping to know a repacked radio when I see one. That is NOT the original box or packing. Definitely not the original mic- and yes, that mic connector tells the real story.
Unlikely I would ever buy anything from this seller, but if I did it would have to be an in-person evaluation and pickup. I just don't trust this guy.
He got me and demanded a refund, Cost me the cash to ship a cobra and speaker set up.sent it back with a big scratch in the wood .It sold for more money a week later had to update the pics after his repack.I am just glad he didnt steal parts. Live and learn. and there is nothing ebay will do about it as long as they make money,
Beware. The seller of the Robyn admitted he pulled the listing photo off the internet. It is not of the original radio. That should be the first question you ask any fleabay seller.
